Gamelearn Attends the 6th LearningMEX 2016 Meeting in Mexico City

In Gamelearn, we are starting March by attending the 6th LearningMEX 2016 meeting to be held in Mexico City this March 2nd. This is an important event that provides an opportunity to discuss and analyze the latest news and most effective formulas in the area of ?? business training and development.

Maider Apraiz, co-founder and CSO of Gamelearn, will be part of the panel of experts at LearningMEX 2016 in order to examine in depth the “Techniques and strategies for achieving engagement in online training activities“. The session will be particularly aimed at those responsible for e-Learning, Development managers and HR managers.

It is estimated that this 6th LearningMEX meeting will repeat the success of previous editions, which were attended by more than 1,500 people and around 600 companies. This prestigious forum will serve for hundreds of professionals to reflect on how to match training strategies with business objectives. Experts and attendees can also analyze in the federal capital the impact of technology on the learning process.

Among the topics to be looked at are:

  • Engagement vs content: analyzing the use of games in learning.
  • Consolidating gamification as an educational tool.
  • Strategies to get the student to complete a training activity.

All of those are topics of our interest and we want to contribute our experience as a global leader in the development of serious games for corporate training. In fact, the presence of Gamelearn in LearningMEX 2016 confirms our commitment to providing solutions to the challenges of the three generations: Baby Boomers, Generation X and Millennials (also known as Generation Y). It is they who make up almost the entire workforce nowadays and also in the medium term.

Game-based learning has proven to be the most effective learning methodology compared to more traditional ones. With these new proposals, barriers related to costs are torn down, along with the problems of geographical dispersion of the courses and, of course, student motivation when finishing them. LearniMEX2016 is the perfect place to explain these and other benefits of the new trends.

Our participation in this event consolidates the presence of Gamelearn in Mexico, a country where we have had for a few months now commercial headquarters to intensify our role in Latin America.
